Welcome to Spokane Pony Baseball, Spokane’s elite youth baseball program.  Pony Baseball has
been a fixture in Spokane for over 30 years.  During this time we have had one goal; provide our
children with a positive and rewarding experience while teaching them the great game of baseball.

There are many ways in which Pony Baseball stands out from other youth baseball programs.
The two primary areas are Quality and Competition.  We put a lot of time, effort and money into
fields and field preparations so that our kids play on quality fields and have a great baseball
experience.  We provide good competition in our league and further enhance it by sponsoring at
least two weekend baseball tournaments every year.  We encourage our teams to register in these
tournaments and experience the competitiveness, fun and sportsmanship that come from playing
against teams from across the state. We believe that these qualities, along with our dedication to
gradually introduce the rules of baseball and increase the field dimensions, best prepares our
players for playing beyond youth baseball.  To find out more, please click on the “Why Play
Pony” link.

Please review the 2010 Coaches Handbook under the “Coaches” link. We have made some
changes to the rules for 2010; namely in the Pinto (7U/8U) and Pony (13U/14U) Divisions.  We
will have at least three Coaches/Parent Information nights in February.  Please check the website
for a convenient time, date and location.  For all coaches, we will have a Coaches meeting on
February 24th.  Please check the website for the time and location.

If you are new to Pony baseball, we hope you enjoy your experience and welcome any comments
or suggestions you have. For those of you returning, we thank you for coming back and look
forward to an excellent 2010 season.

Good luck and have a great baseball season!
