This is, obviously, for beginning baseball players.
Emphasis placed on fundamentals, learning the concept of
baseball, and having fun on the diamond.
The diamond
is at 50 feet
and a certain amount of  flexibility is
encouraged so the kids have fun and play is expedited.

Players bat from a tee
or a coach can pitch.  The
players use an "Incredi-ball" which is softer than a
baseball, they play 4 innings in which everyone bats and
plays defensively.  No game scores or standings are kept
in this league.  Each child will receive a team jersey and
hat with their registration fee.

The players use an "Incredi-ball" which is softer than a
baseball, they play 4 innings in which everyone bats and
plays defensively.  Coaches pitch for two innings and in
some instances kids will pitch a couple of innings.  Games
are played on weeknights. No game scores or standings are
kept in this league.  Each child will receive a team jersey
and hat with their registration fee.
This league begins the players' training in the complete
game of baseball.
Players pitch with a regulation
baseball from 44 feet and the diamond is 60 feet.

Most "regular" rules of baseball apply.  Lead-offs are not
permitted but base stealing is introduced.  Games are
scheduled for 6 innings and there is a 10 run rule in effect.
Fundamentals are emphasized.  Each player is required to
play 3 consecutive defensive innings per game and if a
player does not start one game he is required to start the
next.  There will be approximately 16-20 league games
scheduled (depending on size of league)  Practice
schedules are determined by the coach.  Uniforms are
NOT provided by the league - it is the coaches
responsibility to handle this.
